Customer Service Representative – Receptionist

Job Overview
You are the first point of contact for our company, and you are also responsible for welcoming guests and greet people who visit the learning center.

A Customer Service Representative at Built by Me has the key responsibly to translate to our community our values and mission – Help Children Grow into Creators. You will work in a start-up company mindset and in a welcoming and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately

  • Managing incoming calls and customer service inquiries

  • Generating sales leads that develop into new customers

  • Help check-in each class, workshop, special events and open play

  • Ensure learning center is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g., brochures, marketing materials)

  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email

  • Enforce rules and safety regulations

  • Communicate with parents in person and via email and develop a rapport with families and students

  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing

  • Represent Built by Me’s values at any point of contact with families and prospective customers

  • Must be available to work on weekends
