The Art of Filmmaking
Level I


Grades 4 – 7

This class introduces students to the art and technique of filmmaking using stop-motion techniques. Students will go through the steps required to make a short stop-motion movie, including writing a script, drawing a storyboard, developing characters, making puppets or using Lego®, shooting scenes, editing, and adding sound effects.

The Art of Filmmaking
Level II


Grades 4 – 7

This program is for serious stop-motion filmmakers who want to dive deeper into more complex techniques and continue to explore their creativity. In each session, the young directors will learn and experiment with more complex stop-motion filmmaking techniques focusing on acceleration and deceleration, camera movement, timing, spacing and sound effects.

The Art of Podcasting

Grades 4 – 7

This class will explore what a podcast is and why it’s so powerful for storytelling. Students will learn the steps required to make a podcast – planning, scriptwriting, editing, and publishing. At the end of the program, each student will have completed a podcast on a subject of their choice.

Young Entrepreneur Business Bootcamp

Grades 6 – 8

This program focuses on the essential skills of starting and growing a business. Students will engage in various activities to spark their creativity and business ideas. They will then dive into the many steps it takes to bring their ideas to the next level, including marketing, financing, problem-solving, planning, organization and budgeting.
